Community Facilities District (CFD)

The Chino Valley Unified School District utilizes Community Facilities Districts (CFD) to finance district school facilities and services. Property owners in a Chino Valley Unified School District CFD are taxed annually for their share of the debt service on any bonds that the CFD has issued and/or to pay for the cost of school district services. Proceeds from the taxes are used to ensure that the schools are properly maintained and improvements are constructed.

Current Community Facilities Districts (CFD) are:

  • Community Facilities Districts (CFD)  #3: 1995-1996
  • Community Facilities Districts (CFD)  #4A: 2006-2007
  • Community Facilities Districts (CFD)  #4B: 2012-2013
