TYKES Program

Serving families with children prenatal to age 5, living in the Chino Valley, by providing wraparound support and leveraging resources to strengthen family outcomes.

When we prioritize play, creativity, and imagination in our children's lives, we help them develop a childhood filled with joy.

The TYKES Program works to identify, engage, and strengthen families with young children living within CVUSD boundaries. Utilizing five existing District-funded Family Resource Centers (FRCs), bilingual case managers are available to help families connect to community-based services and resources including:

  • Linkage, referrals, & connections to local and county resources.
  • Case Management for parents/caregivers that require more intensive, long-term support and/or immediate assistance with emergency needs & social services.
  • One-on-one support and instruction for parents/caregivers with social/emotional and/or developmental concerns utilizing the Parents as Teacher (PAT) curriculum.
  • Crisis intervention support via District social worker (MSW).
  • Strategies that focus on the prevention and early identification of child abuse and neglect.
