Energy/Resource Management

Energy and Resource Management

Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) is an Energy Star Partner.

Our District is dedicated to the efficient use of its natural resources. The Board of Education recognizes the need for reducing energy and water use in the District whenever possible in order to help conserve our society's natural resources.

Our District continues to make every effort to save energy and water, as well as promote waste management and recycling, thereby keeping funds which would otherwise be spent on utilities, available for use in the classroom.

Our District has a new waste hauler, Waste Management. Currently, we have legislation under Senate Bill 1383 that requires our District to sort all waste. Sorting and recycling our waste is now an important part of everyday life at all CVUSD sites. Waste Management is SB 1383 compliant.  Our District's goals are to do our part at each District school site to sort, recycle and meet the requirements of this bill.
