Curriculum, Instruction, Innovation, and Support Division

The Division of Curriculum, Instruction, Innovation, and Support (CIIS) is responsible for the operation and support at all twenty (20) elementary schools, five (5) junior high schools, three (3) K-8 schools, four (4) comprehensive high schools, Buena Vista High School, Adult School, Chino Valley Learning Academy, Alternative Education, and Boys' Republic School for court-appointed youth.  

With excellence on purpose, the mission of the division is to provide leadership and guidance in the development and alignment of the implementation of the state standards, assessments, curriculum, instruction, professional learning, and related student support services.

Our department coordinates the administration and processing of all district, state, and federally-mandated assessments.

Child Development

To provide access to quality enrichment programs and services which reflect and address the needs of our multi-faceted community.

Curriculum - Elementary

Providing quality programs and services that maximize academic achievement and personal growth to prepare each child for a successful future.

Curriculum - Secondary

Supports teaching and learning by promoting rigorous, standards-based instruction that fosters critical, analytical, and creative thinking.

Health Services

Dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of all students.

Special Education

Ensures that the unique needs of students with disabilities are met through designated services, supports, programs, and/or specialized placements.

Student Support Services

Supports students through child welfare and attendance, foster youth program, student behavior/discipline, records, transfers, and TK pre-registration

Technology and Information Services

Responsible for enhancing and maintaining the District's computers and related systems including the data network, servers and data storage.
